3p Slot Machine are an experimental rock band composed of five students on the cusp of their twenties, their songs capture both child-like wonder and a wisdom beyond their years. Described as the “innovative court-jesters of the indie scene”, they carry with them an air of eccentric tom-foolery. But don’t be fooled: 3p Slot Machine are just as much able to produce sublimely sincere songwriting as they are mosh-inducing odes to chickpeas. The group has built a strong fanbase attracted to their virtuosic instrumentation complete with samba percussion, lush three-part harmonies, lap steel and far-out freakbeat influences.
