Joe Bonamassa says he's at the height of his powers. Judge for yourself - 100 seats only, in Faversham.
Alastair Greene is one of the most respected blues-rock guitarists on the American circuit: a multi-charting Top 10 Billboard artist, eight years as guitarist and co-lead vocalist with the Alan Parsons Live Project, and 25 years fronting his own power trio. Think Gov't Mule, ZZ Top and Cream - funky, swampy, muscular, and completely his own.
Eleven solo albums, most recently Standing Out Loud on Ruf Records, cut in Nashville with producer JD Simo. He's opened for George Thorogood, Walter Trout, Robin Trower and John Mayall, toured 100+ shows with Tab Benoit, and earned four stars from DownBeat. "He is the equal of any and better than most" - Blues Matters.
For this one we're keeping it intimate - just 100 tickets, seated. The Old Brewery Store, with its vaulted ceilings and three centuries of brewing history inside Shepherd Neame, is the perfect room for a guitarist of this calibre: close enough to see every note land, no distance between band and audience. Take a seat, or stand at the back if the mood takes you - no fuss either way.
And because it's a Wednesday, we keep it civilised: doors at 7, music on time, finished by around 10 - a proper night out that still gets you home at a sensible hour. World-class blues-rock without writing off Thursday.
100 tickets. When they're gone, they're gone.
