To incorrectly quote Hans Gruber (and so, John McClane): "Now I have a Christmas movie quiz. HO-HO-HO." That's right, it's very nearly winter-holiday-yuletide-time, the weather outside is frightful, it's a wonderful life, love actually is all around, and as we all know, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is to quiz loud for all to hear.

Ali Plumb (off of BBC Radio 1 and elsewhere) comes to town for a very, very, very special edition of his Untitled Film Quiz Project, all about everyone's favourite cinematic genre: the Christmas movie! The films we've all seen more than any other, like Die Hard (yes, Die Hard), It's A Wonderful Life, Love Actually, Elf and many, many more.

From recent classics - if such a thing can exist - like Klaus to golden oldies like Miracle On 34th Street, not forgetting Home Alone, The Holiday, The Muppet Christmas Carol, and everything else that makes us feel warm and snuggly over December (and increasingly November, let's be honest).

So gather up a team, pop them in Christmas jumpers and join Ali for a prize-filled, pleasingly silly, doesn't-take-itself-too-seriously big screen quiz that'll warm your cockles and undo any and all grinchiness you might inadvertently be feeling just now.
