At only 23 years of age, Swiss London-Based producer and accordion phenomenon Anatole Muster has already gained critical praise from both musicians and fans alike. His unique approach to modern jazz got featured by Jamie Cullum on his BBC 2 radio show and made him collaborate with genre-bending heavyweights just as Tennyson, Kiefer or Louis Cole.
Anatole's music has propelled him to perform worldwide, including shows at Montreux Jazz Autumn of Music festival, Rio Montreux Jazz Festival, M4Music Switzerland, a sold-out Minaret Records-Show in Los Angeles and two sold-out performances at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London, to name a few. He was one of the headliners at the Rakvere Funkfest in Estonia in front of 1500 people.
Anatole's first album, "Wonderful now", was released in 2024, showcasing a remarkable musical diversity by an artist with an exceptional background. In these 28 minutes of music, Anatole emancipates from the confines of the traditional genre and explores the multitude of sounds that have made him love music so much. Anatole journeys through jazz and hyperpop all the way to emotional dance and trap with seamless fluidity all while remaining faithful to the improvisatory nature of jazz. Anatole's unique voice, the accordion is skilfully weaved into the music, adding his unmistakable electrifying melodic phrasing into every composition.
"Wonderful now" marks Anatole's debut as a singer adding a further dimension of genuine vulnerability to his already direct rapport with the listener:
Anatole oversees every aspect of the music-making process, including production and performance to mixing and release. Besides collaborating with some of Jazz's finest and most innovative musicians like Louis Cole, Telemakus and Mackwood, Anatole hints at his extensive network that stretches well beyond jazz. Collaborating with notable musicians from across-the-board, like M Field and Juliana Chahayed. With "Won- derful now" Anatole invites listeners on an exciting musical journey they won't want to miss - a showcase of his endless creativity and passion for exploring new sounds.
Anatole's next album is already in the making and set to be released in April 2025.
