London Hammond n Horns funk/soul heavyweights The Jezebel Sextet are back with Lisa Grand on vocals performing the songs of Aretha Franklin and James Brown’s Funky Divas. Inspired by one of soul music’s most celebrated live albums, Aretha Live at the Fillmore West - this show recreates those legendary live arrangements by Aretha Franklin and King Curtis with the Memphis Horns. Plus funk vocal classics by James Brown’s Funky Divas! You’ll hear Aretha hits ‘Respect', 'I Say A Little Prayer', ‘Think' and 'Natural Woman', alongside classics by James Brown’s favourite female singers Lyn Collins ('Think About It'), Marva Whitney ('What Do I Have To Do'), Vicki Anderson ('Answer to Mother Popcorn') and Sugar Pie DeSanto ('Go Go Power').
