FAQ'S 

Can I bring my own food & drink?

You are welcome to bring your own picnic and snacks to our outdoor cinema evenings.

Food, snacks, soft drinks and hot drinks will also be available from our screen-side café trailer. We take both card and cash. We will always aim to have vegetarian and gluten-free options available, but if you have specific dietary requirements, it is advisable to bring a little something along with you, just in case there isn’t something suitable at the event.

No BBQs are allowed on site.

Do I need a paper ticket?

All of our ticketing is done electronically so you will not be sent a physical ticket. You can print out your e-tickets if you like but we advise saving the paper and loading the tickets on your phone or tablet to be checked at the ticket tent on entrance.

Can I buy a ticket on the door?

Tickets must be purchased in advance online only. These cinema evenings may sell out quickly so book your tickets while you still can.

What happens if it rains?

These cinema evenings are taking place outdoors, on the lawns of Arlington Court and will go ahead even in rain. Please check the forecast on the day of the screening and come prepared for the conditions.

Our team closely monitor weather forecasts in the lead up to our shows and should there ever be any concern regarding the weather, we will inform all ticket holders before the event but otherwise it can be assumed that shows will be going ahead as planned.

Are the events accessible?

These evenings are taking place on the lawns (short grass) and have gravel paths to the edge of the location, there are also accessible toilet facilities. If you have any concerns or questions please do get in touch either via phone (01271 850296) or email (Arlingtoncourt@nationaltrust.org.uk).

Do you offer tickets for carers?

Carers and essential companions are entitled to a free ticket, please email your order number to us and we will issue your complementary ticket. Please note identification may be required upon entry.

Are children allowed to attend?

Our team are legally required to check for proof that children attending our cinema evenings are old enough to watch the selected films. Under 16s must always be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.  

We reserve the rights to refuse entry to anyone under 16 who is unaccompanied or anyone who is under the certification age.

When can I arrive and what time does this film start?

Gates open at 8.15pm with the film starting around an hour and a half later, just after sunset. We recommend you arrive as early as possible to soak up the atmosphere and reserve your spot.

Is seating provided?

You will need to bring your own blanket or camping chair to sit on.  Please note that blow up mattresses and sofas are not allowed.

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs on leads and assistance dogs welcome.

Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable. However, if an event is postponed and rescheduled and you inform us within 14 days that you are unable to make the rescheduled date, you will be refunded in full.

Can I bring a tent or gazebo?

Tents and gazebos are not permitted as they block the view for others and can be a hazard in high winds.

Is on-site parking available?

Yes, parking can be found within our main carpark which is around 200m away from the event location.  Parking will be free for the duration of the event, but if you have a National Trust membership we would love it if you can get a ticket from the machine – each membership card scans gives Arlington £4 worth of funding to care for our precious collections and nature abundant estate.

Can I smoke?

Arlington is a no smoking site. This includes e-cigs and vapes. Please be considerate of others and abide by this rule.

Will there be toilets at the cinema events?

Yes, our public toilets, which are a just 50m from the screen will be open for the duration of the event, these include a changing places facility and accessible toilet.
