Get ready for an electrifying night of live music as Battle of the Bands takes over The Victoria. Local acts will go head-to-head, bringing their best performances in a bid to claim the top spot.

Two winners will emerge from the competition:

• One band will win based on the crowd size rallying behind them
• Another will be chosen by an independent judge, based on musicality and performance

Disloyal are a Birmingham-based post-hardcore band known for fusing urgent, angular riffs with emotionally raw vocals and dynamics that shift from bruising intensity to fragile melody. Emerging from the city's DIY scene, they blend influences from classic post-hardcore and modern emo-tinged hardcore, crafting short, cathartic songs driven by tight rhythm sections and jagged guitar work. Lyrically the band explores themes of disillusionment, fractured relationships, and resilience, delivered with an immediacy that translates powerfully live.

Nothing in Return

Nothing in Return are a four-piece alternative rock band from the West Midlands, blending raw emotion with atmospheric intensity. Rooted in honest songwriting, their music explores themes of disconnection, repetition, and self-reflection, capturing moments that are as relatable as they are intimate. Drawing inspiration from the melodic edge of Jimmy Eat World, the swagger of Oasis, and the energy of Green Day, Nothing in Return carves out a space between indie and pop-punk, delivering a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly current.
