BAU CAT // CWRW We’re over the moon to be hosting rising stars Bau Cat at CWRW this spring, supported by indie-folk outfit Grack Mack & The Pack and South Wales country musician Eleri. Advance tickets are now on sale for just £6! Click the link in our bio. // Bau Cat - comprised of Abby Butler on lead vocals and bass, Jim Davies on guitar and Jack Wells on drums - formed in 2023 in North Wales. The band’s unique sound has flavours of Country, Surf, Indie and Psych delivered with a Rock ‘n’ Roll energy. Quickly garnering a reputation as an excellent live act, they closed the Toad Hall stage at Glastonbury as well as the Hudol stage at Green Man last year. Their single ‘Feel’ was put on the A-list playlist for BBC Wales and latest single ‘Night Only Knows’ has been getting spins on BBC Radio 6. // Side-splittingly-relatable, food-for-thought quartet Grack Mack and the Pack have served as a widely appreciated emotional lay-by since their 2022 formation in Bristol. The Pack take influence from Phoebe Bridgers, The Beatles and Big Thief to turn what frontwoman Grace Mackenzie calls ‘melodies of her thoughts’ into sing-a-long hooks. Now, the warm crenulated gelling of nostalgia has met the masses, enthralled in neo-boho looseness like the last puzzle piece soaked in a good bottle of red, carbonated and corked to build the pressure before everything comes, explosively, together. // Dubbed “Kacey Musgraves meets London Grammar” by BBC 6Music and "Swansea's answer to Faith Hill", Eleri infuses rock and pop into her country sound. Inspired by a US road trip at age 19 Eleri came back changed, having visited musical hotbeds like Greensboro NC and Nashville TN, as well as the shining lights of Chicago and New York. She draws influences from a host of artists combining traditional country music storytelling with catchy melodies. Amassing almost 1 million streams for her work to date, Eleri has supported Macy Gray, Jill Andrews, Alyssa Bonagura and Kezia Gill. With features on BBC Radio 2, multiple A-List slots on Radio Wales, frequent spots on 6Music, Absolute Country Radio, Countryline Radio, and BBC Radio Cymru, as well as performing at Glastonbury and Country 2 Country, Eleri is a unique beacon of talent. //
