It is with immense pleasure we bring two of the biggest and innovative DJ’s and live acts to come out of the Detroit techno movement to Brighton - Carl Craig and Octave 1 need little introduction. Carl has led the way over the last couple of decades, commonly referred to as the 2nd wave of Detroit talent, pushing his flawless musical taste through his label, Planet E and a ridiculous number of remixes, productions and live acts. Anyone who witnessed Carl's masterclass at the Arch last year will understand how thrilled we are to bring him back to Brighton for what we know is bound to a genre defying set of epic proportions.

The electrifying live performances of Octave One are one reason that the Detroit born and bred producers are in constant demand. On stage, Octave One transforms synthesizers and sequencers into vessels of funk, house and symphonic beats. The live show is evidence of what longtime fans already know. Their performances earn critical acclaim. “If you ever get the chance to attend one of their highly energetic shows, be sure to opt for the in-person venture and save the YouTube streams for later,” one journalist writes. Octave One is more than an electronic band; it’s an experience, teasing the boundaries of space, sound, and the possibilities of music in real time. We cant wait to see them perform on the Quarters sound system in Brighton!
