Iconic rap duo Black Star – made up of Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def) and Talib Kweli – return to the UK this November for three nights, celebrating 30 years in music, performing hits from their debut album Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star and sophomore album No Fear Of Time.

Two of hip hop’s most revered and acclaimed solo artists in their own right, teamed up as Black Star in 1998 with their seminal debut Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star. This project further solidified their standing as flag-bearers for socially conscious rap, blending sharp political commentary, Afrocentric philosophy, and poetic wordplay over soulful, jazz-inflected beats. Their chemistry, lyrical depth, and commitment to truth-telling made the album a cult classic and a blueprint for generations of underground artists. After years of solo success, Black Star reunited in 2022 with No Fear of Time, produced by Madlib, reminding the world that their voices still hit just as hard.
