Build A Mini Bog Garden
Chelsea Physic Garden, London.Create your own miniature bog garden and discover the curious plants that thrive in wet and watery worlds.
In this family workshop, children will venture into the Garden's glasshouses, where tropical plants hang overhead and carnivorous plants grow. Along the way, we'll explore what makes bog plants so unusual, why some carnivorous plants catch insects and how these extraordinary species survive in places where other plants struggle.
Children will then create their own mini bog garden to take away, using a carnivorous plant, mossy textures, soil and natural materials to build a small wild world of their own.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 and above.
