Canned Pineapple
Brighton quintet Canned Pineapple release sophomore EP 'Big Break' (March 21st 2025)
Fronted by Irish vocalist Seán Drury alongside Guitarists Oakley Gardiner and Gabe Rice, Bassist Sam Cullen and Drummer Charlie Pringle, Canned Pineapple continue to build on the feverish hype surrounding the band following the release of their new EP, which has gained them widespread acclaim from the likes of So Young, Dork, Clash, BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 6 Music and Radio X (X-Posure).
In the past year, the band also made their way across the pond to play to packed out crowds at New Colossus Festival in New York City, to the Netherlands for Down The Rabbit Hole and Left of the Dial, Belgium for Fifty Lab Festival, and The Great Escape in Brighton. They have also made numerous appearances as guests in the BBC Introducing Live Lounge. In 2025, Canned Pineapple set off on a tour of the UK and EU celebrating the release of their highly anticipated EP, including slots on the Main Stage for Truck Festival, YNot, and their French debut at Supersonic in Paris.
Produced by Tom Rees (Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard/The Bug Club/Panic Shack), their latest EP 'Big Break' once again captures the charismatic energy which distinguishes Canned Pineapple's sound, delivering tracks that embody the band's live sound whilst delivering radiant earworm melodies. Characterising their sound as 'scuzz-pop', the quintet set out to capture their raw live-sound whilst still channeling their love for pop classics.

Femme
DIY music is integral to Femme's sound. Led by two women the alternative rock trio utilises garage rock and riot grrrl influences to create a relatable and catchy sound. They play loud and crunchy, with unforgettable lyricism about female life and relationships. Combining sounds from bands like Mannequin Pussy, The Breeders and Courtney Barnett. Femme favours audience-driven live performances, and punchy music. Femme had made a splash in the Alternative Music scene, with 2026 brining more gigs, and an upcoming EP release.
