CHET FAKER

Chet Faker will perform at the festival on July 31st, closing the 2026 edition. Nick Murphy is Chet Faker, who won over audiences in 2011 with his version of “No Diggity” (originally by Blackstreet). The artist will be taking the Ageas Cooljazz stage for the first time with his new album “A Love for Strangers” (scheduled for release on February 13th, 2026), for a night dedicated to jazz, soul, and R&B. Chet Faker entered the artistic world and immediately conquered it. From jazz to soul to electronic mixes, Chet Faker impacts through his voice, inviting the audience on an emotional journey at each concert through his intimate tone. Chet Faker's musical influences begin in jazz, with Chet Baker being one of his greatest references, to the point of inspiring his stage name. Other influences such as Bob Dylan and the Motown universe have led Chet Faker to have various references in his work, in terms of messages, rhythms, and ways of captivating the audience. The artist sings about passions, disappointments, loneliness, longing, and nostalgia, exposing what he feels.

The Ageas Cooljazz festival returns from July 1st to 31st, 2026 to the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo and Parque Marechal Carmona.

 

Ageas Cooljazz has 4 Concerts per night.

Doors opening at 7pm, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM begin at 8pm at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater then on the Ageas Stage, the First Concert followed by the Main Concert on the same stage. After the Main Concert on the Ageas Stage ends, the Late Nights start at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater.
