Leading comedy website Chortle celebrates the most promising new shows heading to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe. In this scorching showcase, 10 comedians making their hotly-anticipated debuts in 2025 show us why they’ve been tipped for the top, with the very best on the bill securing a Chortle Hotshots bursary towards performing at the festival.
Aaron Wood, Adam Anwar, Alex Stringer, Ava Liversidge, Dom Hatton Woods, Elle Pea, Jacob Nussey, Lindsey Davies, Nathan Birkinshaw and Paul Campbell will be competing for the prize with three-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Chris Cantrill compering the event.
