Cloud Studies

From South / East London, Cloud Studies was formed in 2024 and comprises of Adam Cresswell (of Saloon & Rodney Cromwell), graphic designer Martin J Langthorne on guitar, Adrian Taylor on guitar and Nat Guest on drums. The catalyst for their forming was that Adam and Martin needed something to do with the vast array of effects pedals that had amassed. ?

?Their debut single ‘Ghosts’ was one for fans of The Cure, Beach Fossils, Cool Heat, Beach House or Galaxie 500. With airy, plaintive vocals, a neo-krautock beat, layers of spacious reverb-drenched guitars, and a floating atmosphere that is perfect for spooky season, it is not quite shoegaze and it’s not quite goth. We call it gothgaze.

Grande Valise

Synthpop songs from the heart of the Black Country. Grande Valise are a sometimes duo, sometimes four piece electronic indie pop band who have several love songs about trains. After releasing our home brewed, wonky guitar pop debut record, ‘Minnewater’ in 2013, they gave in to their inner disco ball and danced off into the world of synths.

Falling & Laughing

Falling and Laughing are an inventive indiepop two piece. Their long history of playing together has meant they have honed a live show that plays with dynamics alongside balancing thoughtfulness and a sense of humour.

Their songs are inspired by jangly C86 indie pop and that strong sense of melody and DIY ethos has followed them through their career. Over time the band have developed and increasingly drawn on ideas from post-rock without ever losing that early sense of fun and brevity.
