For our next big night, we've only gone and done it... Dane Baptiste is finally making his Cottingham Comedy Club debut! After 10 years of running Hull & East Yorkshire's favourite midweek comedy night, we're still bringing you huge names in an intimate room - and this is a proper milestone.

Headliner: Dane Baptiste

Dane Baptiste has spent the last decade becoming one of the UK's most distinctive comedy voices.
A trailblazer from the start, he became the first Black British comic ever nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe (2014), before creating and starring in SunnyD on BBC Three - the first BBC sitcom written by a Black British writer with a predominantly Black British cast in over 20 years.

Since then, his CV has exploded:

• Host of Live at the Apollo
• Appearances on Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Countdown, and more
• International sell-out tours
• Netflix & Amazon Prime specials
• Creator and host of Dane Baptiste Questions Everything, with guests ranging from Reggie Yates to Ed Miliband

This is a rare chance to see a national-level headliner up close, in a room that fits fewer people than an EYMS bus.
