Cyanotype Printmaking For Beginners
Chelsea Physic Garden, London.
Explore the beautiful world of cyanotype printmaking using the techniques first pioneered by the early photographers like Victorian botanist Anna Atkins, whose beautiful images contributed to the fern fever of the Victorian era.
Spend the day recreating these botanical pictures and learning about early photograms in a blend of science and art. Come as a complete beginner, learn the techniques and create your own vivid blue cyanotype plant portraits to frame for the wall, or send as a greetings card.
No need to bring anything, all equipment is supplied, just bring your creative spirit.
