DEAFHEAVEN

Originally formed in San Francisco, Deafheaven are comprised of George Clarke (vocals), Kerry McCoy and Shiv Mehra (guitars), Christopher Johnson (bass), and Daniel Tracy (drums). The band gained worldwide acclaim with their groundbreaking 2013 album Sunbather, which redefined the boundaries of heavy music and earned a place on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time” and Pitchfork’s “200 Best Albums of the 2010s.” In 2015, they once again challenged genre conventions with New Bermuda, receiving critical praise, and in 2018 released Ordinary Corrupt Human Love, which earned them their first-ever GRAMMY nomination in the “Best Metal Performance” category. Always evolving, the 2021 album Infinite Granite marked a new sonic chapter, embracing a more melodic and atmospheric approach. In 2024, Deafheaven return with Lonely People With Power, a bold and expansive album that reaffirms the band as one of the most innovative forces in contemporary heavy music. Renowned for their intense and immersive live performances, Deafheaven have toured extensively across the globe, playing festivals such as Coachella, Primavera Sound and Amplifest (2013 and 2019), and sharing stages with artists like Slipknot, Knocked Loose, Chelsea Wolfe, and Mono.
At the height of their career and joined by Portrayal of Guilt and Zeruel, Deafheaven return to Portugal for two unmissable shows: on November 22 at Mouco, in Porto, and on November 23 at RCA Club, in Lisbon.
