Din of Celestial Birds + Supports

Instrumentalists Din of Celestial Birds will be bringing their unique brand of cinematic progressive rock/metal to Leeds, playing their sophomore album Takeoffs & Landings in full. Described by Kerrang! as one of the UK alternative scene's most underrated bands, Din of Celestial Birds have been delivering enrapturing performances up and down the country since they first took flight in 2019. Their debut album, The Night Is For Dreamers cemented the band as a mainstay of the post/math/experimental scene, with appearances at acclaimed festivals in the UK and abroad, including ArcTanGent, StrangeForms, Damnation, Dunk!Festival (EU), and Can Festival (China). 

Takeoffs & Landings sees the band reach new heights, honing their alternative/progressive sound, drawing inspiration from influences spanning Oceansize, The Cure, Porcupine Tree, and Russian Circles. With the new album comes a new home for the band, who are now signed to Big Scary Monsters, a label which has played an instrumental role in the careers of scene heavyweights including Jamie Lenman, Arcane Roots, American Football, and Delta Sleep.

Main support comes from London atmospheric alt-rockers Wildernesses, whose debut album Growth has garnered significant critical praise, with Echoes and Dust describing it as a 'sensational album with moments to cry, moments to laugh and even moments to dance'. Wildernesses have been hard at work making their mark on the UK scene, and this show follows their summer 2026 debut at the award winning ArcTanGent festival.
