GIGUE presents PRESSURE Vol.2 on 17 April 2026 at The Victoria Dalston, 10:30PM-2AM. Q-BRA leads the night with a bold set moving through house, breakbeat, techno, UKG and beyond, bringing a distinct energy shaped by performance and club culture. Joined by SHEB, expect sharp transitions, high-impact selections and a dancefloor that stays locked in. Intimate space, heavy atmosphere - arrive early.



Who is Q-BRA?

 

Kübra Uzun (aka Q-BRA) all pronouns

Multidisciplinary Artist, DJ, Performer, Host

Born in Istanbul and now based in London, Q-BRA is a singer, songwriter, performance artist, curator, DJ and an LGBTQIA+ rights activist working on an international basis on various platforms.

 

They wrote, sang and produced the song titled ALAN2020 with Mx. Sür, which became the anthem of Istanbul Pride in TR in June 2020. In December 2020, Uzun performed 'A Trans History Sung', a digital monument directed by Onur Karaoglu, in collaboration with Volksbühne Berlin digital season: Next Waves Theatre.

 

As the MC of Boiler Room Contemporary Scenes: Istanbul held in 2022 in Salon IKSV, she also loves to host and be the door person of some of the pioneer queer-(oriented) parties in Istanbul and abroad. They are 1/3 Ex-Step Mothers of XSM initiative which they dedicated themselves to lately, and besides throwing parties for the community to create safe-spaces; they keep on producing trax with Mx. Sür. Latest productions coming from the duo were Benim Alfabem [XSM020] and DJ Me(h)mure [XSM019].

 

Q-BRA was invited to a commissioned work titled 'Transpose BURN: Pit Party' in June 2023 which was held in London's Barbican, and got involved with other clubs and places in London, Manchester, Nottingham and Glasgow during her stay for 4 months in the UK. ICA London, Dalston Superstore, FOLD, Nottingham Contemporary are some of those spaces where she was involved as a speaker, DJ and/or host.

 

She is also the coordinator of Through The Window Project: An online project aims to gather queer artists, thinkers and night workers from Turkey, The Netherlands and beyond since June, 2020.

Who is SHEB?


SHEB is an Istanbul-based Londoner with years of experience across the music and entertainment industry, bringing a distinctive energy to the DJ booth. 

 

Her sets move fluidly across genres, blending electronic dance, melodic and ethnic house, UKG, breakbeat and queer dance influences into a sound that's both dynamic and instinctive. 

 

Guided by sharp rhythm and an intuitive sense of flow, SHEB builds journeys that shift effortlessly between moods - keeping the dancefloor connected, curious and in constant motion.
