José Gil, Francisco Gil, and João Gil make up the trio Gilsons, son and grandsons of the legendary Brazilian icon Gilberto Gil.
On July 17th, the Gilsons will give an exclusive performance in Portugal. Ageas Cooljazz welcomes the Brazilian group for a night that celebrates the Portuguese language and MPB (Popular Brazilian Music).
His international breakthrough came at the latest Latin Grammy Awards, where he won all three categories in which he was nominated.
She has released three albums: Vale das Flores (2024), Histórias do Céu e da Terra (2019), and Para Além da Curva da Estrada (2016).
Through her productions, she embraces an experimental approach, blending pop and electronic influences.
With doors opening at 7:00 PM, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM begin at 8:00 PM in the Amphitheatre of Marechal Carmona Park, followed by the First Concert and then the Main Concert on the Ageas Stage. After the main concert ends, the Late Nights kick off at the Amphitheatre in Marechal Carmona Park.
