Gobby Girl Productions presents Gobby Flicks Comedy, a mixed bill fundraiser celebrating funny women on and off screen. Featuring stand up from TV regulars and local up and coming talent as well as a screening of a short film. Proceeds go to support the Gobby Girl Film Fund. This fund will support female writers and directors in producing their own comedy shorts that will be screened at future nights. A study in 2022 found only a third of UK television directors are female. We want to help redress the balance. Have a laugh and feel smug about supporting a good cause while you do it!
