Green Island is back for its sixth year with the second chapter of our 2026 summer series.

On Saturday 25th July, Hulme Community Garden Centre, Warwick Street and the Niamos Centre transform into a five-stage day festival in the heart of Hulme, bringing together music, nature, food, family activities and one of the most unique settings in the city.

Built on a reputation for carefully curated line-ups, Green Island places underground, underrepresented and emerging artists alongside globally respected names and Manchester pioneers.

Family Activities: The Imaginarium

Curated by Z-arts, The Imaginarium is a relaxed family space open 12PM – 5PM, inviting families to make, move and explore together through nature-inspired creative activities.

What to expect:

• Nature-inspired storytelling with Ilaria (various times)

• Magical Garden Adventure with our Nature Detective (various times)
