Chicago-native pianist and composer Greg Spero is joined by an all star band to play his Spirit Fingers compositions; a complex original kind of music in the jazz fusion spectrum.
Spero has performed and collaborated with the likes of Halsey, the Miles Electric Band, Harvey Mason and Aloe Blacc and is one of the top 20 most-listened-to living jazz instrumentalists with over 287,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
The sound of his Spirit Fingers compositions combines the very best of early 70s jazz fusion, hip-hop, pop, and modern funk. Despite complexity of the material, this music manages to be lyrical, emotional and engaging.
