Henka live in Lisbon and Porto — An intense experience between industrial and cinematic soundscapes

After making history in early 2025 by becoming the first heavy music artist to potentially represent Portugal at Eurovision with the explosive track "I Wanna Destroy You", Henka is now set to bring her sonic universe to national stages with two unmissable concerts.

The artist will perform on July 4th at República da Música in Lisbon, and on July 5th at Mouco in Porto.

Henka — the musical project of Portuguese artist Cat Pereira — is a rising force in the dark synth and alternative metal scene. With a bold fusion of electronic music and metal, Henka creates soundscapes that shift between the industrial, the emotional, and the epic. Inspired by martial arts, her live performance incorporates a unique blend of physical strength, emotional intensity, and commanding stage presence.

Her sound is a controlled collision between the aggression of Nine Inch Nails, the free-spirited creativity of Björk, and the irreverent attitude of Halsey, mixing electronic beats with heavy riffs, dense atmospheres, and moments of pure cathartic release.

"I Wanna Destroy You", her Eurovision debut track, embodies this hybrid identity — crushing guitars, visceral screams, and a visually rich aesthetic inspired by cinema, with references to Blade Runner and Kill Bill. On stage, Henka promises more than a concert: she delivers a full audiovisual experience, where every sound and image is crafted as part of a powerful emotional narrative.
