Born in the depths of Montseny, Catalonia, Remei de Ca la Fresca have quickly emerged as one of the most restless, unclassifiable, and defiant bands. Never hidden, always upfront. With a wild discourse, both sharp and poetic, they defy every stylistic boundary and fire relentlessly. The quartet from Arbúcies made their name by winning the Erra Forta contest, armed with castanets and an ironing board, and later released their self-titled debut album (2021) under the Indian Runners label, which was enthusiastically received and led them to tour extensively throughout the country. Remei de Ca la Fresca make political music in the purest sense of the term.
