How To Eat Herbs: Roots & Rhizomes
Chelsea Physic Garden, London.
Set on the weekend of the Winter Solstice, How to Eat Herbs: Roots and Rhizomes turns attention below the surface. This workshop focuses on the plants that store their energy underground, exploring roots and rhizomes that sustain us through the darkest part of the year.
Moving from learning to eating, the day culminates in a shared winter meal inspired by the solstice, a time of stillness, depth and endurance. An invitation to slow down, eat seasonally and reflect on what is held beneath the soil.
