Sam Griffiths; the voice, heart and songwriting force behind The Howl & The Hum, will be stripping things right back for an intimate solo show at the Angel in August. Known for his soaring, acrobatic vocals and unflinchingly honest songwriting, Sam's stripped-down sets trade the band's widescreen sound for something raw, beautiful and direct. Its not to be missed. 

Joining him is fellow York songwriter and Angel favourite Katie Lou McCabe. Intimate, honest and emotional lyricism, with melodies that you'll be humming for a long long time.

Expect an evening of stripped-back songwriting, warmth, and two artists at the top of their craft, in York's newest live room.
