inU x OSCURA lands at Digital Nightclub, Newcastle on 6th June, delivering a night of forward-thinking house and techno, anchored by two artists whose names are deeply woven into the fabric of electronic music culture. Patrice Bäumel & Dave Seaman!!

Patrice Bäumel, an artist whose sound has become synonymous with depth, tension, and emotional precision. Patice Bäumel rose to prominence through releases on labels such as Kompakt and Afterlife, where his hypnotic, melodic approach found a global audience. His Global Underground album marked a defining moment in his career - a nuanced, slow-burning mix that showcased his ability to balance restraint with power, atmosphere with propulsion. Rather than relying on peak-time theatrics, Bäumel's GU contribution unfolded as a carefully plotted narrative, earning widespread acclaim for its sophistication and musical intelligence.

Joining him is Dave Seaman, a true legend of the Electronic Music movement and one of Global Underground's most influential contributors. Few DJs can claim a legacy as enduring or as impactful. Seaman's Global Underground releases are regarded as cornerstone documents of late-90s and early-2000s club culture - mixes that defined an era when progressive house was about storytelling, patience, and emotional resonance. Decades on, his sound remains unmistakable: warm, rolling, and impeccably controlled, delivered with the confidence of someone who helped write the rulebook. Dave Seaman behind the decks is less about nostalgia and more about timeless craft.

Support comes from Liverpool's Paul James Nolan, Nolan's sets are fluid and considered, balancing subtle tension with dancefloor drive - a fitting addition to a bill built on musical journey rather than quick impact.

Completing the lineup are inU's own Gav Easby and OSCURA's SOBAH, two selectors representing the ethos of their respective collectives. Both are known for building atmosphere with intent, setting the tone through carefully layered house and techno that prioritises flow, depth, and connection over gimmicks.

inU x OSCURA at Digital Nightclub is a meeting point between generations, scenes, and sounds - from Global Underground heritage to contemporary melodic techno - delivered in one of Newcastle's most respected club spaces. For those who value progression over peaks and storytelling over spectacle, this is a night that speaks your language.
