Absolut Cr@p

Absolut Cr@p, named to set expectations at a level that may well be exceeded, was born out of SARS in Hong Kong in 2003.  The line-up has changed over the years.  The Bush Hall gig on 1 October will see the one and only leader of the band, Paul "Plops" Carter, joined by original vocalists, Chris "Guinn" Guinness and David "DK" Kidd, recent regulars bassist Taryn "Pretty Cr@p" Hauritz and Nigel "Fingers" Wright on keyboards, and drummer Nick 'the Stick" Hassall in his first Cr@p gig since Hong Kong days, sitting in for Christopher "Rocky" Stonehill.  The Cr@p plays an assortment of covers which the band's loyal group of fans keep coming back for.  It is a pleasure to be playing in Bush Hall and to be sharing the evening with internationally talented Jackie Bristow with Mark Punch and the local legends Brian.  We hope a good time is had by all and that we live up to our critic's choice strapline: "Sometimes they sound quite good!".

Brian
Brian is a band based in London, born out of Edinburgh University. Equally at home putting their own spin on classic tracks from the 1960s through to contemporary tune, as they are debuting original material. They've built a reputation for live shows that pull a crowd having played festival stages and sold-out headline dates across London. They keep the focus where it belongs: loud guitars, great songs, and good dance floor energy.
