Grammy winner. Double Blues Music Award champion. One of the finest saxophones in the blues - live in Faversham, fully seated.
Jimmy Carpenter has spent forty-plus years making people feel something. A Grammy-winning composer and two-time Blues Music Award winner for Best Horn (2021 & 2022), he's toured the world with Tinsley Ellis, Jimmy Thackery, Mike Zito and Walter Wolfman Washington, and built a sound rooted in New Orleans - blues, soul, R&B and rock and roll, delivered through a saxophone that's been called one of the best on the circuit.
He's Musical Director of the legendary Big Blues Bender in Las Vegas and President of the Las Vegas Blues Society. Five solo albums deep, most recently The Louisiana Record.
Not many artists with this CV play rooms this size. That's the whole point.
For this one we're doing something we rarely do - a fully seated show, capped at just 100. The Old Brewery Store sits inside the historic Shepherd Neame brewery: vaulted ceilings, three centuries of history, and for this night, a room set out for comfort, with every seat close to the stage. No standing, no jostling - just world-class blues, a pint of Shepherd Neame at the bar, and a seat with your name on it.
And because it's a Wednesday, we keep it civilised: doors at 7, music on time, finished by around 10 - a proper night out that still gets you home at a sensible hour. World-class blues without the write-off the next morning.
100 seats. When they're gone, they're gone.
Wednesday 3 June 2026 . Doors 7pm . Finishes ~10pm . Seated . From £20
