Allen is a London based singer songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose sound is built on foundations of Rock, Blues, Folk and Acoustic Soul. His is influenced by the classic sound of British bands like Free and The Faces with a nod to the songwriting of Van Morrison and Elton John.

Signed to Absolute Records UK and V2 Records Europe, Allen has a soulful whisky-soaked voice that has become his trademark. His career took off with his critically acclaimed Dead Man’s Suit album. This led to an appearance on BBC's ‘Later with Jools Holland’. This exposure opened doors for syncs with TV, ad campaigns, films, and radio as well as festival appearances and TV coverage at Glastonbury and many others.

A graduate of The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts he was granted the honour of collaborating with Paul McCartney on his songwriting.

LIPA was where he met the core of his band, The Luna Kings. Guitarist Randell Breneman and Drummer Adam Skinner are two exceptional musicians who have carved out music careers in the own right.  Youthful ego’s cause the band to breakup whilst the members were still at college together but thankfully the years have bought cooler heads and a reconciliation.  Their live performances are full of individual excellence and charisma.

Allen has a worldwide listenership across all platforms, amassing over 40 million streams on Spotify. He tours with his band, The Luna Kings.  His seventh album Seven Dials, inspired by the seedy underworld of 18th century London was released on May 2nd.
