"Scraps of the Final Lights sounds like a post-metal record should sound. Fat riffs, threatening silence and devastating chaos... A bit like a majestic ship that fights against waves that rise like living walls, slowly loses the unequal battle and is inexorably swallowed by the raging and merciless sea."  Luminous Dash

Juneau are heading over to Manchester for the first time in support of their new album Scraps of the Final Lights. Belgium's latest heavy-hitters in the post-metal sphere are on course to become firm favourites in the scene and head to the UK following tours of Japan and European.

Having found a home on UK label A Cheery Wave (Overhead the Albatross, Din of Celestial Birds, Civil Service) the band are embarking on a week long jaunt across our fair isle in late April.

Expect it to be loud and live long in the ears and your memories.

They will be joined by Gudewife and Tung!

Güdewife hail from Cheshire but are already beginning to make inroads into the Manchester scene, having opened for Alpha Male Tea Party at Star and Garter last October.
Their debut In Liminal Space is a wonderful genre-jumping instrumental whirlwind and sets them up for a strong follow-up, whenever they're ready! Their first time at Aatma promises to be a special one.

Tüng are making their live debut! - But rest assured, you're about to witness something extraordinary. The new Manchester-based banjo-led math rock duo features an ex-member of Young Devils, Hail Brethren and Run Like Hell. They have set their stall out for fans of Old Pine, andy, Glenn & Rich, plus Bluegrass - but I think you'll agree upon first listen, they're utterly unique and completely captivating.

Aatma is located on Faraday St, above and adjescent to The Peer Hat.
