Welsh legends KEYS will be headlining CWRW next month, supported by Wrexham’s finest, Baby Brave, plus new Reading alt-rockers The Borough.

Over five Albums, several EPs and countless singles, KEYS have become a mythical presence on the Welsh musical landscape. The timeless quality of the band’s music touches on the wide-eyed wonder and boundless possibilities of the sixties pop song, West Coast harmonies, Motown backbeat and the aggression of post 1968 proto punk, sets them apart as true believers in the communion of Rock and Roll. KEYS are very much a band for the here and now, shaping music from the moon dust of the past into a re-imagined future that is all theirs for the taking.

Baby Brave are an indie pop band from Wrexham, North Wales. Imagine a sound somewhere nestled between Warpaint and Talking Heads, playing classic pop songs with soaring melodies, disco rhythms, gut wrenching guitars and a sonic palette that ranges from echo-laden new wave to distorted post-punk.

 

Baby Brave are working with Ode To Records to release their debut album 'Sugar To The Tongue' in 2025. The first single from the album, 'Cherry Tomato', made the BBC Radio Wales A-List. It was added to the Rough Trade Counter Culture playlist, was chosen as a Radio X X-posture "Hot One", and received multiple plays on 6 Music.

The Borough are a new 4-piece alternative rock band from Reading, formed in late 2023. Their set is full of danceable and catchy post-punk songs, with surf-rock inspired riffs and funk style rhythms - raw and theatrical with heavy lyrical themes. FFO: Warmduscher, Joy Division, Fat White Family, Viagra Boys, The Fall, The Cramps and The Stooges.
