Legss

"There is a case to be made that Legss are one of the most underrated acts to grace the British musical landscape today" (So Young). After meeting and forming in London, Legss released their experimental, darkly satirical debut EP Writhing Comedy in 2019, which received heavy airplay on BBC 6 Music, "its stabbing, urgent musicality setting the group apart from their peers" (Clash). A year later the band's anticipated, genre-bending sophomore EP Doomswayers was released in the shadow of the pandemic, championed by Steve Lamacq and BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders, "ambitious and accomplished, an imaginative shot in the arm in a year when bluff doggerel passes for poetry and insight." (Echoes and Dust).

Following the release of single and short film Hollywood, Legss signed to The state51 Conspiracy and released their third EP Fester in 2023. Recorded at The Church, the EP received acclaim from the likes of the Sunday Times, Quietus, Independent, Line of Best Fit, So Young Magazine, DORK, L&Q, and DIY.

In 2024, Legss were included in the afterword to a republished edition of Mark Fisher's seminal Ghosts of My Life (Zero Books) by Simon Reynolds. Gloss, the first single from their debut album, Unreal, was released in April 2025, described as "just the beginning of a comeback from a group who, at their best, are one of London's most powerful acts" (Hard of Hearing).

Pay The Stranger

Pay The Stranger are a new 4-piece band from Birmingham, fronted by underground/DIY legend Tony Bontana and released through his independent label, Everything is Perfect Records.

They masterfully blend the raw power of 90s alt-rock, reminiscent of HUM and Deftones, with the ethereal, swirling textures of shoegaze pioneers like My Bloody Valentine. Their sound is an immersive landscape of thick, fuzzed-out guitars, underpinning emotionally charged lyrics that evoke both nostalgia and anticipation. The band have just released their debut album, Home for the Weekend and have recently supported the likes of Keg and They are Gutting A Body of Water.

Mt Yonder

Mt. Yonder was born of a need for release. Four backgrounds spent in overlapping circles of eclectic scenes, coalescing to create an urgent sound that is centred around the immediacy of angular rock, whilst retaining a focus on melody. Featuring members of Blakfish, The Broken Oak Duet, &U&I, Shapes & The Cape of Good Hope.
