Another night of excellent local (ish) songwriters, in your local grassroots venue, for a tenner! Parking onsite, near the station, reasonable bar. 

Line up includes;

THE HEDGE INSPECTORS an amazing, award winning acoustic duo, performing original songs on a variety of instruments- drawing from multiple genres, to reflect their eclectic musical influences.

Songs, from the incredibly moving & poignant sublime, to the ridiculous & back again, on subjects derived from 'true' situations & the human condition. Well known & loved for their own brilliant work and but also incredible commitment to providing welcoming platforms for others to shine. They thrive on audience participation, so expect to be singing & shouting along !

 

LAURA LOH

UK singer/songwriter Laura Loh shares her story in the hope that you’ll be inspired to share yours too.

She writes gentle pop tunes with an a?ecting vulnerability, speaking from personal experience about a range of topics, including mental health & resilience. 

Half English and half Chinese, Laura has a brilliant, classically trained voice, & finding inspiration from myriad genres. The multi-instrumentalist & producer blends alt-pop, alternative folk & classical elements to create her own pop sound.

Laura has already recorded at Abbey Road Studios, featured on BBC Introducing & played a number of festivals including Purbeck, Weyfest and Westival

 

PAUL EVANS is a Surrey based musician with a diverse career in live performance, touring & recording. A dedicated, prolific songwriter he has been playing in bands since the late 80’s growing to tours, collaborations, including Eddy MacDonald (The Alarm/SmallTown Glory), Ben Gordelier (The Moons/Paul Weller) & Charlie Fowler. 

 

He has recently released a debut single called "Faith" & an EP called "Sound Bites" in addition to many albums including ‘A Demo for Ukraine’ featuring 16 tracks both his own & local artists to raise money for Ukrainian refugees which featured heavily on radio playlists

 

As usual the event takes place in our excellent, community benefit Fiery Bird Venue. Join us for another great night of music!
