Lucy Rose's new album was recorded at Paul Weller's studios in Surrey (where much of Lucy's last recording was recorded), Pale Blue Eyes was played live in the studio as a trio, featuring piano, drums, and bass. Lucy's vocals were recorded back at her Sussex home, before handing it over to Kwes who took the reins of production. There are jazzy undertones to the track, particularly in Lucy's piano playing, but with a subtle sense of euphoria too. Lucy on Pale Blue Eyes:"The song, it's a tricky one, took me a while to figure out what I wanted to say. The chorus is very much about that one person who kept me believing in myself at my lowest time, who was of course my little boy. When I felt like my body was failing and no one around me believed me, he still loved me for me." Lucy will take last year's broadly acclaimed This Ain't The Way You Got Out LP out on the road for the first time in February and March 2026, lining up eight headline dates for her first UK tour since April 2019. SUPPORT: Margaret Glaspy Originally from the Northern California town of Red Bluff, Glaspy began writing songs at age 15 and quickly developed a style marked by raw sensitivity and razor-sharp insight and introduced her as a major new voice in indie rock.
