Making Eyes

 Making Eyes feature thought provoking lyrics and melodic grooves against a backdrop of noisy textures. Their signature sound is defined by unique chord progressions that create a compelling and memorable listening experience. The band thrive on producing emotional live performances with their lush atmospheric layers as well as the gritty, hard-hitting walls of sound.

 In 2023, Making Eyes debuted their first EP, "The Perfect Curveball", a collection of five songs which documented various aspects of the past year of their lives. Later in the year, "Kinross" was released - featuring local artist Kath Dugan, who contributed a spoken word poem resonating with the instrumentals to create a euphoric and nostalgic feeling. It was released to local acclaim, being played across multiple local radio stations and making the year end list to several local publications.

The band are now releasing their self-titled EP. Celebrated by this release show with Vol Promotions and friends in their hometown of Portsmouth at Kola venue. The first single "Dance Forth With Grace" has been gathering hype, achieving BBC Introducing Solent's track of the week in September.
