"Exceptional voice and unique and soulful artistry..." - Blackburn International

Nate Simpson comes to this music with serious credentials. Having played Marvin Gaye in the West End production of Motown the Musical, he brings both vocal command and theatrical understanding to one of soul's most important songbooks.

Backed by a live band, Simpson moves through Gaye's defining songs with the control, warmth and emotional range the material demands. The set includes "Let's Get It On", "What's Going On", "Sexual Healing" and "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", songs that travel from romance and desire to protest, vulnerability and social conscience.

Marvin Gaye's catalogue sits at the heart of Motown and modern soul, but it is not easy music to carry. It asks for elegance, restraint and fire in equal measure. Simpson's background across West End theatre, soul performance and live concert work gives this show its edge, with credits that also include Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical, The Lion King in Paris and national recognition from The X Factor UK.

This is a full live-band tribute shaped around voice, feeling and the enduring power of songs that still speak directly to the room.
