MC Hammersmith is posh west London's leading - and only - freestyle rap comedian. He presents his new show: "Ice Ice Nepo Baby".

When MC Hammersmith turned 18, his parents (MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice) shockingly revealed he was adopted. His two famous dads helped him ascend to the top of the rap game. He now embarks on a quest to find his biological family, the only way he knows how: by performing an hour of improvised hip hop comedy based on audience suggestions.

Lightning-fast hip hop comedy, explosively funny rhymes, and utterly captivating genealogical investigation. Featuring brand new routines for 2026!

Monkey Barrel Comedy has been 'Scotland's Best Comedy Venue' since 2020 (Chortle Awards) and was described by The List as "a year-round Edinburgh institution". It has over 500 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor, making it one of the city's top-rated year-round attractions.

Our adjoining bar, Barrel Bar, is open from 3pm on Fridays and Saturdays and at least 1 hour before every show every other day. It serves a wide selection of drinks, including locally-sourced beers, cocktails, and spirits.
