Moon Mother is the voice that's echoing in the darkness of a starless night to remind you about the coming morning. Music born in darkness becomes an act of reaching for the light.
The dark folk phenomenon that's rising up from Sweden opens the door to their mysterious world of shadows and light. In a beautifully raw, psychedelic universe, intertwined by the sounds of alternative slowcore and atmospheric slowrock with a wild spirit of folk their live performance is known to be a transcendant journey that leaves a strong imprint on those who cross their path.
In february 2026 they released their second album Meadowlands that gained international attention, stunning reviews and praise in the underground scenes for it's authentic and catharic emotional weight. This summer they will be visiting Brighton for their first UK show ever that will happen in an intimate, stripped down setting at The Folklore Rooms on Saturday 1/8/26.
They have teamed up with the magical Brighton acts Sairie and Snowy Mountain to make sure this will become a mezmerising summer eve full of magical spells, enchanting, psychedelic and dreamy music. Dreams over Brighton - a journey between worlds and mysteries.
SAIRIE: The Brighton three piece of Emma Morton, Jon Griffin and Andy Thomas cast magic spells upon the listener. Their music is like a séance; an enchanted visit to the inside of a hollow hill.
SNOWY MOUNTAIN: Snowy Mountain conjures feathery dream pop from dusty Moogs and Casiotones. Prepare to ascend into the ether.

"a moody folk-rock celebration of the great unknown, and of the hope that there's something greater in there than we can ever assume." - Alt77.com
"Sara Mehner's majestic singing and storytelling quickly establishes her as a voice to be reckoned with" - Americana UK
"Moon Mother creates a timeless musical bubble that enchants the audience with its slow sincerity. Sara's voice and lyrics weave a bubble of closeness to both emotions and nature, an expression of love and togetherness that feels very genuine. An aspect of spirituality that easily keeps the audience's attention captured despite the slow tempo. It's kind of solemn, a cross between a graduation and a mass, without being tacky." - Mats Lundgren
