Who is Nova Norda?

Nova Norda formed a deep bond with music at an early age, beginning piano lessons as a child. While studying Sociology at Bogaziçi University, her passion for music grew stronger - she took her first steps on stage performing in rock choirs. Although she briefly worked in the corporate world after graduation, her desire to tell her own story through music ultimately prevailed.

She officially launched her music career in 2018 with the release of her debut single, "Çiktim Bi Yola".
In songs like "Varim," "Dinozorlar," and "Beteri Yok Uslanmaktan," she blends themes of hope, loneliness, and personal transformation with modern electronic soundscapes, quickly carving out a space for herself in the alternative music scene.

Her 2022 debut studio album, "Paralel Evrende Dünya Tarihi," brought together her unique lyrical voice, visual language, and stage presence. In 2024, she released her second solo album, "Üzgünüm, Üzgün Degilim," which gained widespread attention with standout tracks like "Istesen de Sevemezsin," "Serefine," and "Pardon!"

Beyond her music career, Nova has also stood out for her work in advertising and branded content, composing award-winning jingles and soundtracks. Her 2024 jingle "Denedim Oldu" for Levi's received major recognition, winning Best Jingle awards from both Kristal Elma and Felis.
She has also written original songs for film and TV, including "Beteri Yok Uslanmaktan" for the BluTV series Çiplak and "Aska Çarem Yok" for the 2024 feature film 3391 Kilometers - projects that highlight her talent for cinematic storytelling.

Nova Norda aims to create music that doesn't just resonate in sound, but builds emotional connection. With her distinct voice, lyrical depth, and aesthetic approach, she continues to carve out a unique space in Turkey's alternative music scene. She is currently working on her first book - still on a journey of following her own path.
