Sheffield’s most happening indie-pop quintet. Formed in 2021, Orchidelia started life as a humble self-effacing covers band, and in the course of time, transformed into the tight little power-pop powerhouse they are today. They released their first single Leaving Town in the summer of 2023, followed by the chilling Hundred Thousand Lies only a few weeks later. After taking a few months off to polish their act, they came crashing back onto the scene with the racy Midnight Cafe and jangle-pop pastiche Look Away From Love. With their debut album Rosarium (recorded over a two year period in their living rooms) releasing on 16th August, it’s becoming increasingly clear; these lads show no signs of stopping, as they continue to deliver new music, shake the world, heal the blind and cure leprosy.
