Outdoor cinema: This Is Spinal Tap

We know a thing or two about rock music at the Princess Pavilion and we learned it all from Spinal Tap. 

Join us for the outdoor cinema event of the summer in the Princess Pavilion Gardens on Bank Holiday Sunday 30th August for a singalong screening of the greatest rockumentary ever made. This Is Spinal Tap is loud, endlessly quotable and still one of the funniest films put on screen - best enjoyed in full hard rock fancy dress with a drink in hand. 

Hair metal, glam rock, leather, leopard print, denim, wigs - go all in. Gates open from 6pm, with heavy metal classics filling the gardens, the bar pouring movie-themed drinksand the kitchens staying open into the evening for hot dogs and loaded fries. As the sun goes down, we'll hand out lyric sheets and crank the volume for a full singalong screening, with the film starting between 8.30pm and 9pm. 

Whether you know every line by heart or you're finally seeing this cult classic the way it deserves to be experienced, expect big riffs, bigger laughs, and remember; it's such a fine line between clever and stupid. 

Boozy film nights at the Princess Pavilion go all the way up to 11 (pm), so let's have the kind of Sunday that makes Monday someone else's problem.
