Servants /// Serpents & HYPRPWR Promotions proudly welcome Overhead, The Albatross - & - FORT to Manchester for their first ever Headline shows! Following hot on the heels of their co-headline tour date with Midas Fall on June 2nd, OTA return to 33 Oldham Street, Manchester, to perform songs from WherePostRockDwells album of the year 2024 - I Leave You This - along with favourites from across their entire back-catalogue. Returning to Manchester, following a stellar show with Ranges and Din of Celestial Birds early in 2024 at Manchester's Deaf Institute; the band followed up their particularly well received debut EP We'll Burn That Bridge When We Get To It, with one of post-rock records of 2023; Once All Is Said And Done, We Still Draw Breath. 2025 promises to be their biggest year to date, with an appearance opening for the likes of Svalbard, And So I Watch You From Afar, Nordic Giants and Hidden Mothers at StrangeForms 2025. as well as opening Celestial Diadem in London in January, and a tour with record label mates from Ripcord records already on the books.
2025 has already seen the band headline Celestial Diadem in London, as well as performances at CAN festival in China - and bookings at this years biggest post-rock related festivals; Damnation, StrangeForms and ArcTangent. As the band continue to grow, it won't be long before venues such as this are too small to hold the exceptional live show that Overhead, The Albatross already boast.
Co-headlining the entire tour will be Cardiff's finest post-rock export FORT!
To celebrate their performance at ArcTangent 2024, the band released Over The Water, Where The Clouds Grow, cementing their place as one of the most exciting and exceptional live acts in the burgeoning UK post- scene.
Opening the show - and indeed all the shows for the run - are Civil Service. Manchester's most active post-rock band over the last five years will be airing new songs from their forthcoming sophomore release; the accompanying record to ///LIGHT released in late 2024.
