Dusty was on the radio; Bowie was breaking through. For Billy and Lily, growing up in the early 70s was tough. Back then being Gay was still something to fear. Billy longed to come out to his family whilst Lily just wanted her Nan to accept her for liking girls. That was until they joined the local "Proud" group...
