More information about PUNKS FOR CHARITY PRESENTS CLASS OF '79 tickets

Punks For Charity is a new fundraising outfit that has been set up by the founder of PhilanthroPunks, Ali Keane and a local West Londoner and former PhilanthroPunks organiser, Hanna. Punks FC will be solely focused on raising money and awareness on West London charities that aren't in receipt of government funding. Our aim is to build a community in West London that comes together and helps raise funds for some vital lifelines for some of the more vulnerable in the community the same way PhilanthroPunks has been doing since 2017.

The charity we're raising money for this year is The Upper Room. They are a unique charity in what they offer, below is a short summary of what they do:

UR4Driving is an award-winning project which helps people with convictions avoid re-offending by offering them a unique opportunity to gain a full car driving licence, which dramatically improves their self-confidence and employment chances.
UR4Jobs is a FREE multilingual service designed to help people experiencing homelessness, and those with other barriers to employment, to find work.
UR4Meals provides a warm and welcoming environment from which we serve hot, freshly made meals every weekday afternoon from 4 to 6 pm. Anyone can access this service with no questions asked, all year round.

Our aim is to support this charity by raising some vital funds for them and really importantly, raising awareness of the charity by putting a punk rock spotlight on them.
