BIOGRAPHY

Born in the UK from the malfunction of a terrible musical chemical laboratory experiment!

On the 28th December 2010, Dirt Box Disco played their first gig at a small pub in Nottingham, UK. They weren’t a serious band and admittedly were just doing it for a laugh, but the little acorn was planted and the rest is history.

DBD have now released 7 critically acclaimed studio albums! (And one EP!) 2020 will see the release of album number 8 the first since the departure of the lead singer WEAB in early 2019,now with SPUNK taking main vocal duties, TV SEX SHOW is 12 tracks of pure energy, catchy riffs, lyrics, melody and the trade mark DBD sing along chorus!
Whilst most bands try to map out their futures and micro manage a game plan of navigating their way through the music business,
Dirt Box Disco instead concentrated on writing and recording a truck load of rock and roll songs! SIMPLE.

History shows with every year and every new album, the crowds grew, Packed out pubs became sold out venues (such as the legendary Rock City in Nottingham)
and quickly went from opening slots to becoming bona fide festival headliners in their own right, sometimes performing in front of 3000+ people,
Touring the UK with the likes of the Misfits and the Wildhearts, playing a wide variety of festivals and headline their own shows up and down the UK and mainland Europe on a regular basis, DBD are now a fixture of the Rebellion Festival, (the largest of all the European punk festivals) playing there every year since 2012 to capacity crowds.

Dressing like rejects from a fancy dress convention for idiots, but armed with a multitude of short, sharp glam-pop-punk-rock songs and tunes, nothing stands in the way of the Dirt Box Disco, 4 musical super Hero/Villains on a mission to amuse or abuse anyone who will listen!

Boilermaker were formed in Darlington in 2016 by former Last Rough Cause guitarist Phil Coates and drummer Max Turnbull, who now handles vocals, with Steve Addison on bass and Gimp Fist's Mike Robson on drums.
