Originating as a duo, Dallas Faker explores sounds from all across the folk and country tradition. These trans-Atlantic titans are true veterans of their craft, With the group being fluent on multiple instruments including pedal steel and fiddle. The pair have since been joined by Tao Flanagan and Joe Tynan on drums and bass. With the ensemble fully formed, Dallas Faker has truly become a force to be reckoned with.
Hugh Deeney is a 4 piece band that met under bizarre circumstances: suspended in straitjackets over the river Wey. Upon escaping they realised they also needed to escape the constraints of pop music and now work together to create catchy yet peculiar art rock
Fresh on the scene, Connie Newman makes her debut performance as a songwriter. Nemwan spins poetic stories into song with her captivating vocals and fluid guitar playing. Taking inspiration from the great female songwriters of the 20th century such as Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez, Connie creates a sonic landscape that feels warmly familiar yet uniquely honest and melancholy.
