FRIDAY - TRADITIONAL BLACKSMITHING

The Cornish Blacksmiths Collective presents The Forge, one to one sessions in traditional blacksmithing. Work with a professional blacksmith using the fire, an anvil and a hammer to make a item using traditional skills unchanged for millennia. Each session lasts for 30 mins.

Suitable for approximately 8 years+ (height of attendee must be able to look over the anvil). A one-on-one session with a professional blacksmith. Using the fire, anvil and hammer you will be able to make an amazing item to take home with you. Customers must have a valid Festival ticket.

Recommended for age 8+ years. Tickets are per child, maximum 1 booking per child across all 3 workshops. Accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket. Learn the unique art of model making at these fun, interactive clay modelling workshops.Participants receive a step-by-step demonstration by an expert model maker fromthe Aardman studio, and discover how to craft their own model.
